Communications Committee
The Communications Committee prepares the AALAM Newsletter that is distributed to AALAM members and sponsors on a semi-annual basis. It contains a message from the President, highlights activities, recognizes members that have received awards for their achievements, provides a programming guide for upcoming and past AALAM shows on the Boston Neighborhood Network, introduces new Directors appointed to the Board, and reminds members of upcoming events and opportunities. Past newsletters are available at AALAM's website.

Community Service Committee
The Community Service Committee endeavors to partner with local community groups to provide legal educational workshops to groups who have traditionally had limited access to legal services due to language and cultural issues. Thus far, we have worked with the Chinese, Vietnamese, and Cambodian communities.

Advocacy Committee
From time to time, AALAM is asked for its support and/or endorsement on a variety of legal issues that affect the Asian American community. The Advocacy Committee reviews and evaluates these requests and makes recommendations to the Board for its consideration and vote.
