Benefits
AALAM works hard to serve your interests! By joining us, you will support AALAM's mission and enjoy the benefits of membership:

• Discounted (and often free!) rates for AALAM events and reduced membership rates for NAPABA conventions and events.
• Regular notification of AALAM news, events, and job postings.
• Access to our members-only online Membership Directory and our soon-to-be-unveiled Attorney Referral Directory.
• Automatic membership in the National Asian and Pacific American Bar Association with all of the attendant benefits of NAPABA membership.
• Eligibility for nomination by AALAM for positions on judicial committees and other bar association committees.
• Participation in AALAM committees to further the mission of the organization.

The AALAM membership year is October 1 through September 30 of the following year.

Annual Membership Dues

Attorney with 3+ years in practice	$100
Government, nonprofit, small-firm, or solo attorney or attorney with less than 3 years in practice.	$50
Law students (non-voting, no NAPABA membership)	Free

Note that the Boston Bar Association will provide a credit for the amount paid in AALAM dues towards your BBA membership for up to three years. For further details, click here. Membership dues may be paid online by credit card, e-check or direct withdrawal from your bank account via PayPal.

Join or Renew

To join AALAM or renew your existing membership, click the "Join or Renew" box to the left.

Existing members: Please click on the "Membership Login" box to the left and update your contact information in the database so that you will receive AALAM and NAPABA communications at your correct e-mail and mailing addresses.

Membership fees are due annually. Contributions or gifts to AALAM are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. However, membership dues may be tax deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses and contributions or gifts may be tax deductible under other provisions of the Internal Revenue Code. This general statement may not apply to your specific situation; please consult your tax advisor.
