Announcements   |   Professional Opportunities

AALAM's summer season has been highlighted by the annual AALAM Summer Associates Reception, held on July 12 at Hale and Dorr LLP. AALAM members, including Massachusetts Appeals Court Justice Fernande R.V. Duffly, welcome over 20 Asian American summer associates and summer interns working in Boston this summer. Over lunch, the law students received an introduction to AALAM's programs, particularly its mentorship and scholarship programs. The event served as an opportunity to build stronger ties between AALAM and the future members of AALAM.

Over the summer the AALAM Board will be planning the upcoming year of events and would welcome advice and assistance. Any members who have ideas for programs or activities, or who are interested in taking an active role in the organization, should contact Perry Wu, President, at 617-526-6141, or any AALAM Board member. Be on the lookout for announcements about our next membership event in September 2000. Have a great summer!
