Legal Line TV Show

For three seasons from 2005 through 2008, the AALAM Legal Line TV Show appeared on the Boston Neighborhood Network. The show was hosted by AALAM Directors Stephen Y. Chow, Tina Matsuoka and Ingrid Chiemi Schroffner.

On these monthly shows, the AALAM Legal Line hosts interviewed experts on various fields of interest to the Asian American community and others, including family law, cultural considerations, real estate, intellectual property and immigration. A full listing is provided below.

Entrepreneur Series: Interview of Francis Chin, Esq.,
Francis Chin, founder of the immigration law firm, Chin & Curtis, LLP and of AALAM. Fran relates his entrepreneurial experiences starting from working with his siblings in a Charlestown laundry business run by his widowed mother. Entrepreneur Series: Interview of Dongsup "Sam" Kim, Esq.
Sam Kim, a corporate law partner of the Boston law firm, Gesmer & Updegrove LLP and chairman of the board of the Boston Chapter of the National Association of Asian-American Professionals (NAAAP). Sam discusses his experience growing up in the Midwest, serving as a communications officer in the U.S. Navy, representing entrepreneurial companies, and inspiring others through his work with NAAAP and singing evangelically in public places.
